Die Finanzierung
Gewogene Fördermitglieder finanzieren den KunstvereinGRAZ. Die Programmgestaltung des Vereins übernimmt die Gruppe der zwölf aktiven GRAZER. Der Förderbeitrag beträgt mindestens 60 Euro pro Jahr. Wer will darf verstärkt fördern. Spenden, Fördern und Sponsoring ist steuerlich absetzbar.
Graz-over
Konsequenter Crossover bestimmt den KunstvereinGRAZ. Wir mögen Grafikdesign, Bildende Kunst, Videos, Literatur, Naturkunst, Pop, Fieldrecording, Musik, Theater und spielen sogar mit Puppen. Eine wichtige Rolle bei der Umsetzung unserer Konzepte spielen Qualität, Innovation und der Faktor X.
Der Faktor X kann gleichgesetzt werden mit Freude, Grant, Querdenken, Liebe, Ironie, Schönheit und Lehre – aber das sind nur einige Beispiele für mögliche Bedeutungen dieses Faktors. Und: Wir wollen immer die Ersten sein.
Blick in die Welt – ostwärts
Schon immer waren im KunstvereinGRAZ internationale Künstler zu Gast. Einige Ursprungsländer in loser Reihenfolge: Bosnien, Spanien, Finnland, Tschechien, Italien, Österreich, Polen, usw.. Wenn der KunstvereinGRAZ seinen Blick in die Welt richtet, dann schaut er zunächst in den Osten. Seit seiner Gründung 2002 erkannte der KunstvereinGRAZ die Brückenfunktion der Stadt Regensburg. Nähe ist zwischen Ost- und Südost- und Mitteleuropa nicht nur im Bereich der Infrastruktur, der Politik und der Wirtschaft zu finden, vor allem auch in der Kultur. Kultur verbindet. Die Grazer knüpfen Netze mit osteuropäischen Künstlern. Nicht ausschließlich. Aber oft und gerne.

The KunstvereinGRAZ is a platform for exhibitions, concerts, lectures, film evenings, symposia and other performative events.
The Financing
The KunstvereinGRAZ is financed by favourable sustaining members (so-called “Fördermitglieder”). The programming and organisation of the GRAZ art association is coordinated by the twelve active GRAZ members. As a fee of sponsorship (“Förderbeitrag”) we ask for a minimum of 60 Euros per annum. Those who would like to give more are of course welcome to do so. Donations, contributions and sponsorship are tax deductable.
Graz-over
The KunstvereinGRAZ is determined by a consequent crossover. We’re interested in graphic design, the fine arts, videos, literature, natural art, pop, field recording, music, theatre and sometimes even indulge in puppetry. An essential role in respect to the implementation of our concepts is given to quality, innovation and the X factor.
The X factor equals pleasure, passion, rants, lateral thinking, love, irony, beauty and teaching – yet these are just but a few examples for a possible meaning of the X factor. And: we intend to always be the first!
Gazing into the world – eastwards
International artists have always been frequent guests at the KunstvereinGRAZ. Here are just some examples of the countries of origin of past artists shown at “the GRAZ”: Austria, Bosnia, the Czech Republic, Finland, Italy, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Spain, etc… When the KunstvereinGRAZ casts its eye into the world its focus often rests on Eastern Europe. Since its founding in 2002 the KunstvereinGRAZ has adopted the city of Regensburg’s proclaimed role of being a bridge to the East. The proximity to East, Central and Southeast Europe is not only a relevant fact in respect of infrastructure, economics and politics, but especially culturally speaking. Culture connects and „the Graz“ is continuously intensifying and expanding its network with Eastern European artists. This network is not at all restrained to Eastern Europe, but often our artistic web has coincidentally woven itself in this direction, which has been a pleasure for all participants.
